I love this quiet family-run restaurant. You can get a little Greek, a little Italian, or a hamburger. But the best part is that everything is made fresh. Great salad, piping hot fries, and the best baklava I've ever had.
The walls are decorated with a gorgeous hand-painted mural. They obviously cater to a well mannered clientele. There were a lot of people there, but it is the quietest restaurant I've ever been in.
As pointed out in earlier reviews, there is only one wait staff, but our drinks, soup and salad arrived in a timely fashion, followed by our main course by the time we were ready for it. If you are in a hurry, call ahead and get your order to go. If you're not, take your time and enjoy a leisurely dinner in a relaxed environment. The food is worth it.

A large group of high friends meet weekly at different locations and we invaded Nicholas' on 3/5/10. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Fabulous food, fabulous prices. One waitress, however, so service was as best as could be expected for a party of 17. Best pizza I have EVER had.

We decided to try this restaurant since we were visiting friends. The first time we visited – the husband and wife team cooked and served our meal to us. But once we received our food, they sat down to eat their dinner. I have no problem with this, but they did not attend to any other customers while eating their dinner. We needed drink refills, replacement silverware and condiments but this did not happen. They never checked with us once to find out if everything was fine or if we had any problems. The food was good so we dismissed it as a one time fluke. A few months passed and we revisited the restaurant again and much to our dismay they did the exact same thing again. We were shocked at this type of service. I checked with some friends in the area who have visited this restaurant on more than one occasion and was told this happens often. Suggestions have been noted but ignored by the owner. He claims that he and his wife put in 80 hrs a week in the restaurant and that he and his family have to eat at some point and prefer to eat it together and to take your business elsewhere. They have been in business for 20 yrs and they are not in business to take care of cheap and demanding whining customers.
I checked the restaurants web site again to view the comments and then went out to the yellowpages comments and noticed the same comments posted there. The restaurant won't post negative comments on there web site since they control it and it seems either no one else is commenting about this restaurant which is shocking. I usually would not make a comment either positive or negative but the owner is just down right nasty and needs to have a wake up call and get an attitude adjustment. I hope that others will find this comment useful and helpful in making a decision and NOT go to this restaurant.
